This is my best friend and family member, CJ. I inherited him when my dad passed and we have been inseparable ever since. In 2026, CJ will roughly be 9 yrs old now, and I have had him for about 5 yrs.
Below is CJ at the Vets (01/15/26) fixing to get stitches from a (Content Warning) dog bite. Stitches come out 01-29-26. This is still an expense I didn’t need or could really afford. CJ is my first pet as an adult and I wasn’t prepared for all the expense of having one. I never knew a pet could be so; good for me. So of course I did the best I could and postponed a few bills, sold a few things and now I’m trying to play catch up/regain what I lost. But so long as I have CJ, he is all I really need.
